Is Sox and the City syndicated?

We sure are!  You can find links to RSS, ATOM and OPML feeds on the sidebar of every page on the site.  We also strongly encourage all our users to subscribe to our feed, as it's by far the easiest way to stay up to date with all the articles and content posted at Sox and the City.

I would like to advertise on your site.  Is that possible?

It sure is.  Please speak with Hangar18 about all advertising opportunities and pricing.  Sox and the City reserves the right to refuse advertising to anyone for any reason at anytime.

I have my own White Sox website, and I'd like to cross-link with your site.  Is that possible?

Absolutely.  We'd love to swap links with you.  Use our Web Link Submission Form to send us your link.  Once we confirm that you've linked us on your site, we'll be more than happy to return the favor.  We also offer Sox and the City button images to put on your site.  They can be found on our Links page.

I have a website, but it has nothing to do with the White Sox.  Will you still link to it?

If you are a regular member of the site, of course we will, unless it's porn, or a Chicago Cubs fan site.  Just use our Web Link Submission Form to send us the link.

Do you guys ever have Sox and the City social events?

All the time!  We're the most social White Sox website on the internet, and we're always having tailgates, parties, Laffabouts and group outings not only at US Cellular Field, but at ballparks all over the country.  Check our Events page for all the latest updates, and don't be shy about coming out.  We'd love to meet you!

How do I talk to a Cubs fan?

First, you need to prepare yourself for the probability that you will be talking to a complete idiot who is most likely drunk and not very knowledgeable about baseball.  Once you're prepared, you'll want to simply stick to the facts.  There's no reason to resort to name-calling or some profanity-laced tirades.  Don't lower yourself to their level.  Most arguments of Cubs fans don't hold much weight when presented with the facts.  They'll dust off old chestnuts about USCF being boring and in a bad neighborhood.  They'll talk about William Ligue, and say all White Sox fans are rednecks.  That's fine.  Not only do you know that it's not true, you also realize it has nothing to do with baseball.

Just remember, the White Sox have won more championships in the past century than the Cubs have, no matter how much money the Cubs piss away in a vain attempt to end their 99-year and counting losing streak.  If it comes to it, remind them about 2005.  That usually shuts them up.

If the Cubs fan in question happens to be knowledgeable about the game, congratulations, you've found one of the few.  Have a good discussion with them, and again, don't resort to name-calling or irrelevant points like Wrigleyville being full of gay people.  First, gay people are awesome, just like straight people, and second Wrigleyville is a fine neighborhood, just as Bridgeport is a fine neighborhood.  We're all friends, right?  I mean, we all root for the same football team in the winter (unless you're a dirty Packers fan, in which case you

If the Cubs fan in question happens to be an attractive woman, say whatever you've got to.  If she thinks the Billy Goat is the reason Mark Grace hit .500 in 1987, go with it.  You can come clean the next morning about being a Sox fan, as well as any venereal diseases you may have forgot to mention the night before.
