Default One of these things is not like the others...

Quote:
"The reaction was a lot more negative than I expected...it was about 50-50 behind the plate, but ...on the LF berm, probably 80% of people were booing Sammy when his name was announced during lineups..." - Cubbie blogger Al Yellon's observation
Quote:
"Sammy Sosa received some boos. Cheers, too." - Les Grobstein
Quote:
"HoHoKam Park was all abuzz Wednesday for Sammy Sosa's long-awaited return, making it feel more like a family reunion than a Cactus League game. Sosa heard more cheers than boos...He seemed grateful to be received like a long-lost..." - the Cubune's very own, Paul Sullivan
So, which is it?

Kudos to our own Dr. Crawdad ............ for pointing out the obvious bias us SOX fans have known all along

One candid Cub fan, who was there too, hears a loud booing. Chicago media (except for the Sun-Times) all report it as a warm, lovable Cubbie welcome back to Sammy. Who's telling the truth? I side with the Cubbie blogger.

That is a question that doesn't even need to be asked. It falls perfectly in line with typical Cubune spin.

- The Cubs have ALWAYS been Chicago's team
- The Cubs have ALWAYS been lovable
- Anything once lovable about the Cubs will ALWAYS be lovable (cheating/roids be damned)
- The only championships that will count in Chicago are ones won by the Cubs
- 2005 who?
