New Bear Nike Uniforms

After all of the Bally-Hoo over NIKE announcing they are the new supplier of uniforms to the NFL for the next 4 years, I cringed at how Nike might mess up certain teams uniforms.

Most teams look pretty much like they should, and some teams didn't even change at all (Dallas, NYGiants), but one team that asked for some change,
was our Beloved Bear. And Nike couldn't have done a worse job with the home uniform.

Its Horrible, with the side stripes now being oversized, ala Green Bay & Pittsburgh, to the point that the sleeve numbers now have to be moved to the shoulders. After a number of days to look at the uniform, I'm giving the Bears the ONLY Thumbs Down I'm awarding to NFL teams in regards to their new look.

Huge reluctant Thumbs Up goes to NFC North rival Green Bay. Nike strolled into Lambeau Field with a ridiculous concept for them, and the Packers sent them back to Beaverton with instructions to make the new uniform Resemble exactly, the Look the Packers have now. The Green White Gold collar scheme.

The main radical change to NFL jerseys thats most noticeable, are the collars.
Most teams have a colored collar sleeve to compliment/match their jersey (Titans, Redskins, Broncos, Saints for example) with the Packers having the most noticeable one. The new jerseys eliminate the collars for all teams,
instead giving everyone a generic plain same colored collar.

That is, except for the Packers. Good for them. Boo for the Bears

Yep, saw them in Sports Authority today and I like the old ones better. Could have gotten a last year's uni or hat cheap as recently as a week ago if I had known.

The Chicago Sports Depot still has Reebok unis at 1/2 off
