I'm sorry but I'll cut Ventura a little slack. So Danks started the opener and Peavy the second game? Big deal. On paper anyway this team looks like it won't have a winning season. If Ventura goes against the grain, and does or doesn't go by the book let him try to chart his own course. This is not a good team, and it will take several years at least to get the Sox back on the right track. I'm so glad that motor mouthed moron is gone. Enjoy him in South Florida. I see you folks already are.

In just two short games, I'm liking everything I'm seeing from Ventura already

for example, in the opening game, Ventura had Morel batting 2nd, and he looked really overmatched in that game. Ozzie would've kept Morel there for the next 3 weeks, but Ventura Immediately inserted Lillibridge there the next night. I like this.
