SATC EXCLUSIVE: 2012 White Sox Ticket prices to go DOWN.

I dont have all the info, but I can certainly say that the 2012 Sox ticket prices will be down from 2011. At least on the season ticket end.

A 27 game "Hit and Run(weekday)" plan in Upper Reserve cost $566 in 2011. The cost in 2012? $458, a savings of $108 per seat.

The same plan in the Upper Box Seats was $674 in 2011. 2012? $593, a savings of $81.

That's all I have to report, but it defintely appears the Sox are tackling the price issue in a way to retain ticket holders for what appears to be a rebuilding year.

The Pricing may have a lot to do with the Sox re-labeling premium game to prime, or prime games to regular. I think they got the hint that no one wants to pay $32 to watch the Red Sox or Yankees in the Upper Deck. Especially when you could get tickets downstairs for the same price on stubhub.

I'll post more as it comes in.
