Alan arkin beat out the favored eddie murphy for best supporting actor.
im hopeing Babel doesnt win for best movie, but it prob will.
Ellen has been ok so far.

Goodfellas is better, but that doesn't mean The Departed isn't phenomenal. The story is extremely entertaining.

Amazing, considering she barely did any actual "acting" in that movie.

She sang that one song and did a damn good job, but that's not really "acting" last time I checked...

Oh, and Pan's Labrynth ruled. I thought it was gonna be fantasy bullshit, but it wasn't. Saw that last week along with Children of Men. Also kickass. :rock:

Listening to those songs for Dream Girls, I was pretty underwhelmed. I mean, they can all sing, but the songs weren't really good.

Children of Men is really good.
