The guy is an idiot. He would most DEFINITELY have won his arbitration case had he waited a few more minutes. Hendry of course was completely happy to save some of the company money. Damn I was hoping Big Bozo would've cleaned them out. If he takes LESS than 5 years - $100 Million,
he again will be an IDIOT.

He certainly backed down from all that big talk of big money and big years.
Oy I can't wait to see this clown stomp around the mound and grab his jock every 5 minutes.
There's nobody in sports that makes my blood boil more.

Good point. Anyone notice how the Media DIDNT take him to task for all the posturing and tough-talk he did? Instead relating the story as great news for the city and rainbows and fluffy clouds?
Hey ZAMBOZO .... Give me that $2.6 Million if you dont want it

No one wants to go to MLB arbitration. It's nasty and people take it personally and it gets hard to negotiate after that. Both sides probably saved/gain more than $2.6 million in goodwill by staying out of that room.

I think someone reminded Zambrano that he managed only a 3.60 ERA is the weakest hitting division in baseball. 16 wins? Ace? I think not.
Text message that shit, Carlos.

How cool would it be for AJ Pierzynski to hit a home run off of him, and, after rounding third, goes for pitcher's mound, decks Zambrano, and then trots home?!
I see AJ doing something during the Crosstown series this year even more than what he did last year with his plate-tapping.

As much as I'd like to see that happen I doubt it cause they just finished shooting a commercial together and actually had nice things to say about one another. AJ must be getting old.

What makes you think AJ will ever need that much time off?

Well, MLB doesn't think too highly of instigating bench clearing brawls.

No cool at all.. That would be classless. AJ, knows that the goal is to win a World Series.. not make a couple of fans happy because they hate the Cubs more than they love their own team.
