It's close, but instead of one cake with cream filling inside, it's 2 cakes with chocolate filling between them. The frosting also has chocolate sprinkles on top. They're almost a cross between a Zinger and a Suzy Q.

Anyone else ever had a chocolate Twinkie? I saw them a few years ago at a Hostess store and haven't seen them since. The tiger-striped ones aren't bad either.

Never had a chocolate, but I had a deep fried one while at some bizarre fest in Minnesota a few years back. It was nasty, IMO. Also made me ponder why someone would fry a Twinkie in the 1st place?? After many more beers and other extra curricular activities, I concluded it was the result of years and years of inbreeding in MINN, and felt comfortable w/ that.:shrug:
