Happy New Year, SATC Jews.

Last year was a flaming bag of dog shit and I'm glad it's over, no matter which religion says so.

Get bent, 5767/2007. Welcome 5768/2008.

That is all.

I hadnt realized it was the Jewish new year!!:( If I had I woulda gone out and partied my ass off all night like it was 5799!! Booze all night, hell I woulda brougt the coke out of retirement!!!
Next job I get, I'm gonna tell them I am Jewish!!! In fact I think we should all do this, and we can take advantage of some of these bonus holidays!!
Seriously, let's be smart about this. We get the regular vacation days the rest of the world takes off, and, but wait theres more, we get some bonus days off in there as well!! I had been thinking the stretch between Labor day and Thanksgfiving was WAY to long as it was, this would break it up nicely.
P.S. I am giving up the Meth for 5768!! It's gonna be hard, but by gollie I'm gonna try not to tweek this year!!

All the stupid posts have been split into one big anti-Semetic megathread in the Locker Room so this one can still have a thread of respect.

I assume the same will be said for Christmas, Easter and any other religious holiday threads as well...

What does Kramer try making in that episode with the Jewish singles?

Jerry says it's awful and asks why there's dirt on it.

I can't for the life of me even figure out if it's meat or bread.

Krepla or someshuch

I don't think I've ever had Kreplach before.

Pass.

New scene.
Jerry walks into his apartment; there are pots and pans bubbling on the stove.

Jerry: What the hell is going on here?

Kramer comes running in holding a scalding pot full of dumplings, he drops the
pot into the sink and cools his burnt fingers.

Jerry: What are you doing?

Kramer: I got three kitchens going. I got brisket going at Newman's, I got
kugel working at Mrs. Zamfino's, this is kreplach. Here, try some of this.

Jerry: No, I don't want to.

Kramer: Eat, eat! You're skin and bones.

Jerry gabs a fork and tastes a piece.

Kramer: Hah?

Jerry: Oh, this is awful.

Kramer: Jerry, it's kreplach. It's an acquired taste, yeah.

Kramer bites into one and spits it out.

Jerry: Did you follow the recipe?

Kramer: The recipe was for four to six people; I had to multiply for a hundred
and eighty-three people. I guess I got confused.

Jerry: It tastes like dirt.

There are the clanging chimes of doom
Well tonight thank God it's them instead of you

The Christmas thread is guaranteed to be a food thread.
I jacked a Daver thread with talk of X-Mas food, so I imagine that the food-enthusiasts should have no problem jacking the X-Mas thread.

Personally I dig the brisket that Jews are quite fond of.

Brisket should be corned and served with potatoes and cabbage. All other briskets are inferior.

Is that a hint of accusation in your eyes?
