He had his court date yesterday and a ruling wont be made til at least 4/9
Looks like SOX fans will get 1 final homestand there .....................

I'll be watching the game from some bar in Charleston, WV. First opening day I've missed in a while.

Jimbo's on Opening Day is an option if you enjoy the taste of bitter ash with each canny beer. Its all about Puffer's the night before. Friends will meet, blood oaths will be sworrn and Cheeses will dazzle all with tales of mirth and lore.

Sox games are shown here (Virginia) more often than Cubs games - mainly because Orioles fans are the main fan base around here and the Cubs don't exactly play the Orioles.

Honestly though, no one likes the Cubs around here. Everyone likes the Orioles and a few people like the Sox.

Also, Jimbos sucks.

Good riddance. I sure hope they lose their case after they pulled what they did on a collegue of mine when we had a group Sox outing last April!

I don't know how they could possibly win their case. Last tinme I checked, you have to move somewhere else when your lease expires.

Not anything remotely like that. Instead, it was pure racism. My African American collegue was trying to get their attention plenty of times, yet the bartender constantly disregarded my collegue. Meanwhile, everyone else in our group, as well as everyone else in the area was served. There's no reason for that.

I have never been in Jimbos so i have no opinion, but from what I have heard from many people, doubt it is much of a loss.
