ERO BEACH, Fla. -- Grady Little, the Dodgers' surprising hire as manager more than a year ago, was rewarded for last season's on-field turnaround Tuesday with a one-year contract extension.
Little's original contract was for two years plus an option for 2008. The club guaranteed that option with the extension and added a 2009 option. His annual salary has been estimated at $600,000, which would be in the bottom third of all managers. Yankees manager Joe Torre's $7.5 million is at the top of the salary list.
