Opening Week

Out of curiosity, How many of you guys are going to games opening week? I'll be at the opener and at the second game of the week (April 4). I won't be there on Friday. I'll be going on the 2nd with my pops, my two sisters, and some gals I know. On the 4th i'm going with my friend (who had pics up on maximonline in the hometown hottie contest) and two other female bartender friends. It should be a fun week.

Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. I would have gone to Opening Day if it was just me and my sister, but there are like 5 of us going on Wednesday (that wanted to go to Opening Day) and yeah...that gets pricey.

I'm going to Opening Day, as well as the Thursday game (5th).

Thursday will be quite a day. Go to the Sox game, head home for dinner and a change of clothes...Go to the Blackhawks game...Get home and pack for a 7 am flight the next morning to Toronto.

Well, I have two kids now so the answer is "definitely". The youngest will be about 10 weeks old at the start of the season so she isn't really on any schedule. The little man will be 19 months old and is on a bit of a routine that involves bed at 7:00, The wife isn't working anymore so if little man can handle the night games, I see no reason why they all can't go. I'll drink 50 beers and fight Southpaw.

Since my dad is taking my little bro to opening day, I won't be going for the first time in 3 years. :mad:

As for opening week, I don't know what tickets we got this year.

I'll be at the opener. Sold my tix for wed, and Thurs already(ABOVE FACE!!!!), held on to Fridays, so will prob make that, lookin to prob unload Saturdays if the weathers clear as I got the golf jones. So if anyone wants to get bent over for Saturdays game, I'm sellin 2 for as much as I can get.;) :eek: :shrug: Sunday I'll probably be to hungover and end up eatin those.:shrug:

Nah im just a drunk :) I help a buddy out with Chicagovine (http://www.chicagovine.com) and Ultralounges (http://www.ultralounges.com) they are two event companies. I got into it all simply because I used to go out A LOT and apparently im pretty friendly. Chicago is such a small town that if you go out enough you tend to keep running into the same club/bar industry people after a while.

Hell yeah he is. I think he was talking about getting something like 50lbs of meat for OD. I don't think he'll be going Wed. or Thurs. though. Even though he misses the occasional day game and did not break your record of home games attended the man makes up for it with road trips. Last year the old man attended 83 Sox games not including two spring training games. He is my hero. :D As for Thurs. I will try to be there by 11:30am to tailgate even though my pops won't be there.

Seems like I was only able to get 2 extra for the opener. I had ordered a total of four (2 per each of our 2 accounts) but for some reason the credit card didn't go through which I find odd since I used the same credit card to buy tix up until half an hour later. Looks like it'll be my pops, two sisters and me for the opener.

One week I can hardly stand it!!! Hopefully the weather cooperates. I finally got my ticket issue resolved and now it looks like itll be my pops, my two sisters, my two female friends and myself at the opener. Boozing shall commence at 1130am sharpish on April 2nd.
