Adam Russell looked decent with 1ER in 4IP
Sisco, Aardsma and Gio Gonzalez (L, 0-1) all gave up 1ER in 1.1IP
Uribe went 1 for 3 with an inside-the-park HR (.324)
Brian Anderson went 1 for 3 with a HR (.281)
Konerko went 2 for 4 with a 2B (.390)

Oh, and Ross Gload hit the game-tying HR for the Royals and is hitting .424 :shrug:

Good for Gload, I really hope he does good for the Royals this year. Just not against us anymore. But I am glad that we picked up Sisco. He is going to be a stud.

This game was sort of on XM Radio this afternoon. "The Show," which is on MLB Home Plate 175, was live from Surprise and you could hear the game in the background. Every once in awhile, Kevin Kennedy & Rob Dibble would update the score, discuss what was going on in the game- who was at bat, who was coming in from the 'pen, etc., and would critique the players, pitching, bench, and managers. It was a little frustrating that I wasn't getting regular play-by-play, but very interesting to hear Kevin Kennedy refer to the White Sox pitching staff as "one of the best in baseball."

The man love for Konerko was also very prevalent and both of these guys had nothing but positives to say about the team as a whole and Ozzie as a manager! Kevin Kennedy commented on a move Ozzie made in the 6th when he pulled the pitcher (can't remember who was pitching for us) for Aardsma because he was "managing the game to win." Kennedy said that's a good thing to do at this point in Spring Training because it lets the players know you're serious about winning and are treating this as a game that counts. :thumbsup:
