I just picked this up today.
I looked over at the clock and realized I'd been playing it for 4 hours. :omg:
So, I figured I should take a break.
If you've got a 360 or a high-end PC, and have ANY interest in FPSs or just games with an amazing story/atmosphere/etc. you need to pick this up.
It's absolutely incredible.

The scarcity of ammunition in the game deters me from the title, (though the developers have indicated such scarcity is by design) while the recovery system through Vita-chambers, which restores the player's health but does not alter the enemies', makes the game too easy for more experienced gamers like myself.
In short, :anal:.

Who wrote that?
From what I've seen, it's BS.
I've got full ammo for everything, and the vita-chambers are just checkpoints for when you die. There are health stations where you can buy more health, but the enemies can use those too.
In short, whoever wrote that is :anal:

It does look interesting to me, but I don't have an X-Box 360 nor a good enough PC.

Top Haiku form
Once there was a lad named TDG
Who pined for a lass named Lacey
She saw his lame toys
And sought other boys
Making Gundam desperately horny

Vintage TDG.
I love it.
BTW, I don't think zmz wrote those. I've read them before.
And if he did, he's an idiot because the haiku is the most pedestrian form of the grand science known as poetry.
I searched "haiku" on the J. :o
The dude across the hall from me just picked it up and I watched him play it for about an hour. I'm not a video game nerd, but I thought the graphics were awesome, although watching it for that long made me get kinda tired of it. It seemed like the same old thing over and over again--you inject yourself with some electric shit and then have to beat people with a wrench or shoot them with some crappy weapon.

Bumpage.
I beat the game today. Clocked in at probably 10 hours.
I'm pretty sure I got the "bad" ending, considering Things don't exactly end...happily for the main character, so I just gotta play through it again, but this time take a different path and whatnot.
There's a massively awesome twist about 2 or 3 hours before the end that takes the story to a Metal Gear Solid level of depth.
I give the game 9.5 badgers out of 10.
:badger: x 9.5
I docked half a point, cause the controls could be a little tighter when switching weapons, and near the end when ammo is really scarce it gets too overwhelming, and don't want to explore and stuff as much, which ultimately makes it even harder.
So yeah.
If you have a 360 or a high-end PC, buy this shit.

I have enough things that occupy my time that classify me as a nerd.

Plan to pick it up soon after I finish getting our badass basement ready for football season. Just had the signal amplifier installed for the hd boxes. Just need the HDMI Matrix Switcher, PS3, and HD DVD add on for my 360 Elite and im set...
