Comfortable Numb is good. The live version with Van Morrison is the best version.

I think there's some really subtle, sweet solos off of All Things Must Pass. I'll have to think about which ones specifically.

Willie Wilcox' drum solo in "Caravan" by Utopia.
The duel between Todd on guitar and Roger Powell on keyboards in the outro rocks mad also.

Also the various solos in "Singring and the Glass Guitar" by Utopia are rock-dacious.

"On the Turning Away" Gilmour

Like Campbell says, in no particular order and constantly changing:

1) Neil Young - Like a Hurricane
2) Dire Straits - Telegraph Road (outro, mostly)
3) G ' R - Sweet Child 'o Mine
4) Steely Dan - tied, Reeling In the Years / Black Friday (intro)
5) Van Halen - Eruption

I could prolly come up with 5 Dire Straits songs, since Mark Knopfler is my current fave. And, I can't think of any SRV songs with really good solos, but I know they're there.
