Chicago Tribune:
4 cub stories
2 sox stories
Chicago SunTimes:
2 cub stories
1 sox stories

96 Losses in 06, ZERO 90-Win seasons since 1990, THREE 90-Win seasons since 1950 CUBS 142
90 Wins in 06, FIVE 90-Win seasons since 1990, FOURTEEN 90-Win seasons since 1950 SOX 90

Easy come easy go. Remember how we celebrated the SOX gaining a couple of stories yesterday on the Cubs? Well we lost them again today with the Chicago Medias hard-hitting CubCoverage. Cubpogandist Chris DeLuca goes into painstaking detail to make Alfonso $oriano look like a great-guy regarding his flap with Nats GM Jim Bowden last spring.

Quote of the Year comes from Tribune "writer" Dave Van Dyck in his CubFluff piece on Ted Lilly............. check this Gem out:

"Ted Lilly has gone from being a pitcher .................in a city (Chicago) that is approaching 100 seasons of unfulfilled expectations" -Dave Van Dyck

Memo to Mr. Van Dyck. The Chicago White Sox WON the World Series in 2005

There was this one team, now tell me if I'm wrong, but in 2005 they did something. I remember them being good, the rest is hazy.

Tool.

The sad part is that is not the first time I've heard that same quote.

Remember, Sox fans actually WORK...So they don't have the same amount of time to read the newspaper that Cubs fans do.
