Heh. We should have kept watching it, instead we flipped to the Sopranos and some goofy Astronomy 101 thing.

Was that on the History Channel? If so, that show/series is awesome.

Yeah, that is what I was meaning. The one on galaxies flew right over my head.

Yeah it was The Universe. It was kinda cool but I already knew at least 60% of the stuff on it. I personally liked seeing all the geeky scientists get all excited about galaxies colliding.

I bet those scientists have groupies that give them uncomfortable galaxy sex at conventions.
That one chick who was at the blackjack table was pretty hot.

I do not recall that. There was one chick at the beach and another one standing near a car.

What a hijack.
Yeah, I never learn anything new on astronomy shows but I still watch them whenever they're on.
Me too, the nerds on them should really just go out and drink beer, play bags.

Maybe they think you're a nerd because all you do is drink and play bags. Ever think about that?!?!?!

I'm saying, that maybe in some parallel universe the thing to do is to study astronomy and NOT go out drinking and playing bags. Or maybe they just enjoy looking through a telescope
Either way, as the days pass, I begin to hate bags more and more.

Bags gets annoying. I used to play in a league, and motherfuckas still come up to me, "Hey, remember that time I kicked your ass in bags in 2004? Hahahahah, I rule, you drool Prope."

At the center of our galaxy lies a menacing, supermassive black hole of astronomical proportions whose gravity is so strong light cannot escape it.
:omg:
Go on...

M-31 is the Milk Way's arch nemesis in the cosmos. It is not only inevitable, but probable, that one day it shall collide with our Milky Way, forever changing the cosmic landscape. Unfortunately, none of this cool stuff will happen for the next 3.5 billion years...
So we are safe right??
Prope

I don't understand the concept of light years.
Dr. Zoso, can you explain it?

Dr Zoso, doesn't it go without saying that an inevitable occurrence is, to say the least, probable??

I wish I was gonna die by the collision of two galaxies.

Lend your ears to Dr. Zoso as he reveals the other 40% you DON'T KNOW about the Universe.
Not only is it certain, but there's a slight chance this will be on the test.

I loves me my Cosmology.
For the record, Your Honour, there is a supermassive Black Hole at the heart of EVERY galaxy.
If anyone'd like to know what happens when you fall in to one, ask me.
It's not only fun(!), but it will also twist yer melon, man.

On the subject of what happens when ye fall into a Black Hole, it can be worked out scientifically - if you have a good enough understanding of General Relativity.
(The predictions of which have been verified observationally, thus validating the Theory.)
