So my wife tells me the other day...."you are in big trouble." Come to find out I left a pen in my back pocket during laundry and it made it to the dryer. There are ink stains all over the inside of the dryer. It smudged in all of our clothes and likely will continue to do so. Any ideas on hos to get these ink stains off the dryer. At least it wasn't the cat I left in there this time.
Damn, there's always something.

Wet a crappy towel, run it through the dryer, clean the towel (bleach), repeat. Then throw a gyro in there.

The gyro is key. It removes all that nasty towel smell.
That happened to me once and some rubbing alcohol did the trick. I almost passed out from the fumes though so make sure you open a window or something.

maybe just spot cleaning with some mineral oil? just a bit on a rag and then do the wet towel trick

"Didi7" poured on a sponge or towel, and run it on a normal cycle. Should come out cleaner than before the pen/Valdeez incident.;)

Buy a new dryer and check your pockets before putting your clothes in the laundry.

Hair spray gets out all ink stains on anything, including clothing. Let the hair spray sit there just a little bit first. You should start seeing it dissapate immediately. Don't worry...It won't come off on other clothing in the laundry. Be sure to rinse it down with a wet cloth when you clean the dryer.
Next time: Check your pockets before throwing them in the hamper. Make this a daily habit.
Fire. And lots of it.

Throw that damn cat back in there. If the ink doesn't clean up, at least you can laugh at the cat.

I'm thinking the fire should not be contained to the dryer only.
Torch the whole damn house. Start over.
