OK, I am fully aware that none of you give a rat's ass about this, but...
...even Sports Illustrated has a team covering it, so y'all should check it out. So there!
Official website. (http://cricketworldcup.indya.com/)
BBC coverage (http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/cricket/default.stm).
Guide to Cricket Jargon.
Teams at the World Cup include Ireland, Scotland, Holland, Canada, and Zimbabwe.
If nothing else, it'd be a chance for you all to have a laugh at the piss-poor performance of the English.
:D
Yours in expectation of seeing nothing but

Ireland are currently playing Zim, and have got themselves into a position from which they could win.

Buggeration!
Try this one (http://www.bbc.co.uk/mediaselector/check/player/sol/newsid_4810000/newsid_4818700?redirect=4818720.stm&news=1&nbram=1&bbram=1&nbwm=1&bbwm=1) instead.
Or this one (http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio/aod/mainframe.shtml?http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio/aod/sportsextra.shtml).
If neither of those work, then it's probably a worldwide-licensing issue - but I'm fucked if I can work out who has the radio rights for the USA.
Stupid fucking ICC....
EDIT: I'm a fuckwit - the World Cup homepage lists the media rights owners:
See here (http://cricketworldcup.indya.com/event/broadcaster.htm).
For the USA it's Direc TV.
Failing that, you'd be restricted to the 5-minute updates every hour on the BBC World Service (http://www.bbc.co.uk/worldservice/).

Well, a coupla days ago Ireland managed to salvage a tie against a much better side (Zim), and then, yesterday, England bent over and grabbed their ankles for the Kiwis  (actually, it should have come as no surprise, we flat-out suck at ODI's).
In more amusing news, South Africa's Herschel Gibbs made the Johnnie Walker company regret its drunken boast that it would donate $1m to charri-dee in the event of anyone performing the peerlessly-rare batting feat of pounding all six balls of one over for six runs each (cf hitting six straight HR's).
Right, I'm off to celebrate St. Paddy's Day in the way that is now mandatory in England - by getting arseholed on Guinness!
I'll actually be watching the climax of the Six Nations Rugby Union Championship- which Ireland appear to have already sewn up by thraping the Azzurri in Roma.
England play Wales - who have lost all their previous games - this afternoon, but it will be in the Millennium Stadium in Cardiff.
With the roof closed.
And a crowd of 75,000 Welshmen, all screaming for English blood.
It should be a fine spectacle (and sound).
So, I may be back later, with a shocking hangover!
Slainte,
Ed.

Ha!
Listening to England playing Canada - who we should absolutely murder, but...
England's batsmen are playing like wankers, and have given away three wickets on really stupid shots.
:rolling:
It looks like Canada may be able to do to us what Ireland did to Pakistan yesterday!
If that happens, then I shall be joining the throngs of people around the world laughing their arses off at English complacency, arrogance, and ineptitude.
