fuqyazx and I were discussing the new Alkaline Trio album before some power-hungry mod closed the thread.

The new album is a album of songs that appeared on singles, 7", comps, etc. as well as a couple live tracks. Nothing "new" per se but if you only bought the main albums, most of the songs will be new to you.

or are they queen of pain style...

i guess my question is, do they all sound the same like most recent alkaline trio songs do, or do they have the subtlety that made their earlier songs some of the best rock music of the last 15 years

alkaline trio is probably the best band ever to come out of chicago, and much like all bands to come out of chicago they decided halfway through their career to suck
