Five Strengths
1.) Power throughout the batting order
2.) Defensively superior starting lineup.
3.) Deep bullpen to ease burden on SP
4.) Solid bench should nicely fill in for starters with not too much dropoff
5.) Minor leagues are stocked full of talent.
Five Weaknesses
1.) A lack of speed in the batting order forces us into inconsistent, station-to-station offense.
2.) Uncertain performance for all 5 starting pitchers (could be good, could be awful).
3.) Poor plate discipline at the bottom of the batting order kills rallies and prolongs starts for opposing pitchers
4.) Contract negotiations for major pieces of the squad could serve as a distraction.
5.) I can't come up with a 5.

For your defensive outfield you're assuming Erstad and not Pods, right?

Pods, while not a great LF'er, doesn't prevent the rest of the defense from still being great as a whole. I am, however, assuming Anderson in CF which should cut down in the amount of tries Pods gets. I consider Pods to be a slightly below average LF'er but he's by no means a project out there. Just not a plus fielder like the guys around him.
Having said that, Erstad is much better defensively and will make our defense a lot stronger when he plays.
