Also: The teaser would be bitchin if we didn't already know The Joker was in it...though the laff at the end is neat.

I was too lazy to find it. The video was taken down, heres a description:

It was a 50-second teaser with no footage. There is a silver Warner Bros. logo followed by a Legendary Pictures logo. Black screen. A silvery blue particle blasts from behind a “Batman Begins” logo – silhouetteing it. With each woosh, there’s a piece of dialogue. Bruce: “I knew the mob wouldn’t go down without a fight. But this is different. They’ve crossed a line.”
Alfred: “You crossed the line first, sir. You’ve angered them. And in their desperation, they turned to a man they didn’t fully understand. Some men aren’t looking for anything logical. They can’t be bought, bullied, reasoned or negotiated with. Some men just want to watch the world burn.”
Joker: “Starting tonight, people will die. I’m a man of my word.” (laughs) Finally, the blasts of light fly at the screen and destroy the logo. The last piece flips over to reveal a Joker card. Title: “The Dark Knight” Then: “Summer 2008”

Some men just want to watch the world burn. The writing in these new Batman movies is exceptional.

Fairly neat.
Nowhere near is cool as what the rumors were saying it was gonna be though.

IIRC, it went something like this:
A bunch of guys wearing plastic clown masks come into a bank, tell everbody to get on the floor and whatnot. One of the tellers is some chick who decides to stand up to them, she tells the lead guy to stop being a coward and take off his mask, he says some cool line I don't remember, and takes off the mask, and we see the Joker (or maybe it would just be implied that it's the joker, I dunno). Cue hysterical laughing, screen goes black, show release date.

Speaking of, I was downtown last weekend when they were filming on lower wacker and the garage I parked in happened to be in the middle of the set, and when I was going to leave I pulled out right into the middle of a shot. Honest to god I thought they were gonna kill me.

As for MY batman thread, a sky writer flew over the place outside Comic Con and wrote out a phone number and "HA HA".
Calling the number gives you the password "Inside Joke".
Putting in the passoword takes you to another page, another map, and a riddle.
I'm sucker for this stuff, I just wish I had a contact in San Diego!

EDIT: Solving the riddle takes you to some instructions for the people at Comic Con. I guess now I have to wait for some nerds to pass it on to some other nerds, so those nerds can pass on the next code.

I believe it's from the bank robbery scene that everyone thought would be the teaser.

It doesn't necessarily have to be WB I think. "Cloverfield" was attached to Transformers, and I don't think they're related at all.

If you listen to it, the voice does sound different, but I'm not sure.

It does indeed sound different...but I don't think it sounds like Aaron Eckhart.
Plus, that's gotta be the Joker laughing at the end, and it wouldn't make sense to split lines up like that I think...

The laugh is definetly Joker's because it's on cue with the playing card. Last time I heard Dent/Two-Face laugh like that was when he was played by Tommy Lee Jones, and we all know how that turned out..

I'm very excited about this movie. I think it'll be cool seeing these characters develop. I don't think alot of people realize this, but Eckhart came out and said he'll be playing both Dent and Two-Face in this film.

My guess is we'll be seeing the Two-Face transformation at the end of the film.

At some comic book convention in Chicago recently they showed some footage from TDK.

This is probably kinda spoilerish, but I dunno.
-- The Joker looks terrifying. There is footage of him in interrogation with a voice over from Gordon, they can't find whatever it is they are looking for on him, "All he had in his pockets was lint, and a knife."

--There are explosions, shots of the batmobile, and what looks like a tube holding the bat costume rising from the floor.

-- There is a shot of the Joker walking down and apparently enflamed city street, laughing and firing what looked like a tommy gun, but really could have been another automatic rifle.

-- Bruce Wayne meets Harvey Dent for the first time,
Dent: "The famous Bruce Wayne, Rachel has told me all about you!"
Wayne: "I hope not."

A lot of quick cuts, the batmobile exploding through a wall of flame, the joker holding Maggie Gyllenhal at knife point, and Batman kicking through the door in the interrogation room from the beginning of the clip, he lifts the Joker over his head and slams him on the table... HARD.

AND THEN...

A coin flips onto a counter next to a glass on a bar, the bartender starts to pour the shot before looking up, his response, "Jesus, Harvey, I thought you were dead!"
A hand picks up the shot, and it is slammed off screen before Aaron Eckhart's voice answers, "Half."
