Thanks, Gene. I was kinda thinking this could be a fun show, but the prices were pretty steep. $8.80 for 2 tickets sealed the deal.

did you get an email from ticketbastard saying you got free itunes songs coming your way? they are giving away tracks with every ticket purchased for summer concerts, so you may have even more value comin your way.

Decent show all around, though I missed Joan Jett and Stray Cats. ZZ Top still have their faculties together, so their set was the highlight for me; they even played Pearl Necklace and Heard It On the X. Chrissie Hynde was busting everyones' balls -- you could tell she didn't give a shit. REO was REO. :shrug:

The crowd was laughably small -- maybe 5000 people in that huge stadium. The seated area in front of the stage was pretty full, but with those free tickets you could sit anywhere you wanted in the bleachers, and we got to within 150 feet of the stage on the side.
I saw no scalpers.

i know scalpers were taking a bath on CL. one guy was GIVING AWAY his field seats.
but there were also assclowns who were selling the free tickets they got on ticketbastard.
Methinks no one listens to the jack. And that fenway's prediction will come true(no more jack in chicago).
