The big videogame convention dealie is this week.
Here's run down of the cool stuff announced so far:

Looks alright, but RTSs aren't my jam.

Remember Killzone 1 on ps2? Of course not.
It was supposed to by Sony's answer to Halo. Turned out it was just another mediocre shooter. Still, Sony needs an answer to Halo 3, so we have Killzone 2.
Trailer looks neat, but it doesn't look like it's adding anything revolutionary to the genre.

This should be pretty cool, hopefully it will work with more than just the House Of The Dead style stuff they showed.

I'm a big Metroid Prime fan.
Looks pretty awesome...but all the other FPSs on Wii so far have been pretty crappy. Hopefully Nintendo can get this one to work.

I got it to work. Mario can turn into a bumblebee and a ghost now? :confused: Call me old-fashioned but I quit playing Mario games when they went to 3D.

Only time I've ever been soundly defeated by my roomate at Guitar Hero was when we were doing straight shots of rum and thought it would be a good idea to play Guitar Hero.
It wasn't.
I got my my ass handed to me so bad, I'll never do it again. I have a Guitar Hero reputation to maintain.

Not as much as real drums would of course, so this is CLEARLY a better alternative.

Anyway, the wireless GH controller I have was probably $70-80...these have almost gotta cost more than that.
