If you go to chicagotribune.com today..there is a sports headlines that states "computer says White Sox will go 72-90"....

Well..that settles that ! :rolleyes: ..I guess we should cancel the whole season..if a computer predicts this..what Pulitzer Prize winning writing!:jagoff: ....I never agreed much with the Tribune bias...but is this really an article worthy of a mention in a major metropolitan newspaper?

Something is going on over there at the Tribune..at least before thier bias was somewhat disguised..but they have been displaying absolutely no shame as of late..even for them..

They must be preparing for a major shake-up..something is going to happen..the smear campaign they have been running against the White Sox this year tops them all..

The article didn't mention until around the second-to-last paragraph that PECOTA said the Sox would finish fourth and go 71-91 in 2005. IMO, that should have been in the first few paragraphs, which people are more likely to read than the last few.

Yeah, it made me laugh knowing that in 2005 the computer picked us for 4th place ............... so I'm okay with that .............. knowing what happened in 2005. However, that computer has picked 5 of 6, with the only one being wrong in 2005 so thats something to think about too .....

It's not like last year's division winners were so freaking hard to pick: Yankees, Twins, A's, Mets, Cardinals, Padres. I'd be more worried if they picked say Florida to win the NL East and they did.
