He is playing great for Winston Salem, he is hitting .314 with 17 HR and 53 RBI. He is hitting .421 in his last 10 games. I would like to see him get a shot in AA. But him and Carter are two up and coming hitters in the minors for the Sox.

It seems that the Sox don't consider Schnur to be a prospect any more. They've been treating him like an organizational player. I can't think of any other reason that they would move him backwards in the system to W-S, refuse to move him back up (despite plenty of openings at BHM), and move him to 1B. It's odd, because he used to be considered a prospect, and he's really not that old for a guy who probably should be playing in AA.

I guess they must've really been disappointed in his craptacular 2006 numbers at BHM.
