I know we used to have a thread about the game, but I searched for it and couldnt find it.

Anyways, anyone doing Franchises?

I just switched to Arizona and traded away just about everyone. Check out this rotation:

1. Brandon Webb
2. Phillip Hughes
3. Jon Lester
4. Homer Bailey
5. Clay Buchholz

And for the position players

C- Saltalamaccia
1B - Conor Jackson
2B - Orlando Hudson
3B - Brandon Wood
SS - Stephen Drew
LF - Justin Upton
CF - Chris Young
RF - Andre Either

For those who don't know, me and Corey have talked for years about random stuff. We met through WSI. So year after year his baseball game franchises are the same thing:

Trade anyone over 23 for anyone under 22. No guy with over a year of MLB experience is safe.

i won the series with the sox in franchise now, pretty much only play on Live...as the Sox which is really stupid on my part because they suck..

Nobody can hit Burls, though... this is a fact.

2k7 (for the 360) is the best baseball simulation ever created.

And that's a fact.

2k7 (for the 360) is the best baseball simulation ever created.

And that's a fact.

I have a couple of beefs with it:

1. The outfielder's arms are all waaay too strong. I can't stand how it's impossible to score on a single to center with a runner on second, no matter who's running or throwing. It's basically like every outfielder has Vladimir Guerrero's arm and every runner is Mo Vaughn.

2. It's impossible to steal. If you get into the baseburner mode, you have to have a guy with speed 100 and get a 4-step lead to even have a shot. With Scott Podsednik, I was easily (and frequently) thrown out by Victor Martinez. I didn't even bother against Ivan Rodriguez.

3. It's too easy for outfielders to climb fences and rob home runs. I seriously have one homer robbed each game, whether I do it or the computer does it. Granted, there are some walls that can be climbed, but the day that Jermaine Dye becomes Gary Matthews Jr. is the day Jamie Moyer throws 100 mph.

Other than that, I love the swing-stick hitting and the breakpoint pitching. Still a pretty solid game in my book.

Best thing about MVP were the minor league teams. 2k7 has them, but you can't play as them.

I actually haven't really...played an MLB game since then. :D
I just remember it being the best one at the time.
