They kept me interested, but one of the few in which I can honestly say I liked the movies better.

Anyway, depends on what you want from a book. Want to be enlightened? Not the answer. Want something to read on the beach that's easy to put down and pick back up as bikini-clad 22 year olds walk by? It works.
