That is what I am asking.. As to why it wasn't working before and someone had to hack into it.

looks like a lot of stuff is still being tested. The innings arent real time... all of the action comes in spurts. The date still says Gamecast 2006. There's no banner ads, and the other concurrent games that are lsited, don't list the teams playing, just the score... weird.

But hey, its better than nothing.

I don't think they've ever charged for gamecast. Yahoo has something similiar for free as well as CBSsportsline.

You must be thinking of something else.

it hasn't updated in at least 15 minutes... so I think they have the links hidden for a reason... :(

I just saw Dale JR answer and it makes sense why this is not out there for the public..

Are you sure you know what gamecast is? I use it all the time for free. They usually don't have it set up for spring training but for the regular season it's great.

Yep, I use CBS version of it.. With baseball trying to rake in the cash I could see them in the next 5 years charge for it.

They better not charge for it. I use gameday to check the Knights games while watching the Sox on tv.

I was having an issue with that too, but then I realized that you can refresh it manually and it'll work.
