Rogowski had 2 hits.

He still has to prove that he can run (1) fast enough to steal bases and (2) without hurting himself. I think he's only got like 2 SBs so far, and he got picked off the other day. OTOH, that may be the best he can do at this stage of his career.

I'm hoping Anderson was either, a) hurting or b) uncomfortable in the DH spot. In any case, these past two games have been pretty good to him. Let's hope he can keep it up. :thumbsup:

I heard that BA was DHing (and slumping) because of a shoulder injury, but I didn't confirm it with him. If this is right, then the return to CF (and run production) is a good sign.

Kind of a meh start for Gio Gonzalez:

Mercedes had 3 hits.
Nanita & Lucy had 2 each.

Richard 4.2 IP, 5 R.
Cook had 3 hits, including a HR.
Orlando also homered.

Kanny lost 9-0.
They had 3 hits vs. 4 errors.
6 of the runs were unearned.
Carter showed why he usually DHs
by committing 3 of the errors (plus
no hits & 3 Ks).

GF lost 9-4.
Nice performance 6th-round draft pick

Bristol lost 7-3 and committed
3 errors in the process.
They let Guillen play, but he
showed them why it's a bad
idea, drawing the collar with

Why this is so amusing to me, I'll never know. But, somethning about the beginning of the sentence, "They let Guillen play..." is a raffriot to me.
