...I'm watching the Soprano's and AE and they have a preview of the show Intervention. In the preview they show a guy cooking up some heroin on a spoon. How are they allowed to show that on television? Just because it is cable and because these people are supposedly getting off the shit?

They do the same thing on MTV real life sometimes. I'm guessing the people have to sign a release of some sort saying that if the cops come knocking on your door one day it won't be the fault of the people making the show.

Honestly I'm sure the cops have much more to do than worry about tracking down some dude that was videotaped months prior smoking crack.

NO.

I've had conversations with those people and there's absolutely nothing that peaks my interest...

And alot of things have peaked my interest before...

Intervention is a good show. I never know when it's on, but if I catch it, I always watch. A friend of mine is an addiction counselor in southern Florida and she raves about that show.

People who do powdered coke are generally insecure assholes with money and a serious jones to feel hip and exclusionary.

Neither one is particularly desirable.

I'm no drug warrior, to say the least, but I've never done coke in any form. The few fucked up folks I peripherally knew who did try crack were 24-carat losers for life.

Plus, have you ever smelled crack? It tries to warn you by its stinky-ass smell how bad it is.
