I guess they feel environmentalism is local.

The buy local folks are entertaining too. Not only are the environmental impacts questionable, but I wonder if they know that the movement grew out of a protectionist movement by European farmers. There was a good article in The Economist a while back- I'll see if I can find it.

Stop globalization at all costs, I guess.
