I got to watch a little of the game today ...... and Thornton looked Excellent today. His role on this team requires him to locate his pitches and he looked Great today, I was very impressed.

I'm a Thorton/MacDougal guy. Those guys are great.

Didn't get to see the game but I like the fact that the pitchers are finding their zones and shit

Spring Training stinks in Arizona - it's always the same fucking teams.

Rockies and Diamondbacks alternating like every day, with a random Cubs, Rangers and Royals game thrown in here and there.

By the time ST ends every year, I never want to hear about the fucking Diamondbacks (or Rockies) again. And usually that's the case until the next Spring.

But all those times we faced Schilling when he was with Arizona paid dividends when we met Boston in the playoffs and he was off the playoff roster.

And we won't see either of those teams until next spring because we face the Comedy Central in Interleague...again.

In the meantime, let's sit back and be treated to stories about Clint Barnes, Garrett Atkins and Robby Hammock while we pray for the season to start.

Its amazing how around this time last year, people were asking "Thornton who?"

Now he's probably the best pitcher in the bullpen and probably one of the best, if not the best left-handed reliever in baseball.

He might be the best baseball player in the last 15 years. Or ever, for that matter.
