First time I've noticed that the past 7 winners have all been different. I guess there is some type of parity.

2nd longest streak in Major League history, if I'm not mistaken.

It's been a good decade. The 80s were pretty good for parity too:
Phillies, Dodgers, Cardinals, Orioles, Tigers, Royals, Mets, Twins, Dodgers, A's
Only one repeat and no dynasties. Every other decade had at least one of those.
Certainly gives a big 'fuck you' to Steinbrenner and shows that you just can't buy players.

The 80's were fun.
The 90's? Oy, strikes and Yankees, oh my.
The Aughts rock again.

Yeah, they still haven't learned that you can't go out and overpay for veteran players and automatically win championships.

Agreed. They should just not play out the seasons and hand the trophy over to us every year. We're the only fans worthy of it!
