Phoenix also losing big, as Atlanta gets a top 3 pick.

Anyway, I'm all for trading the 9th. I like Conley and Brewer, not so high on Hibbert or Noah.

You mean Boston wasn't dieing for Julian Wright?

Well, let's root for Portland or Seattle with #1.

YES! Oden and Durant go to the Western Conference. And Portland wins Greg Oden.

Shit, Portland is going to be fucking good.

I am a Blazers fan.
I am thinking Western Conference Finals next year.

Shit, Portland is going to be fucking good.
They were going to be really good next year without Oden or Durant.
I think Portland will be in Utah's position next year.

Whoa whoa, let's not get ahead of ourselves. There's a lot of good teams out there in the West.

I feel bad for Boston because I thought if anybody, they would have been the ones to get the 'bent card.'
I wonder if this is actually worse for the Bulls in terms of picking. I've always been thinking of Mem/Bos or Bos/Mem. Never really thought of Seattle or Portland jumping up that far.

Who will they take?

This is actually about as well as it could have gone without actually getting a top 3 pick.
Oden and Durant both land in the West, so the Bulls won't have to worry about facing them in the playoffs anytime soon.
Memphis is in serious trouble, and they have a very unhappy Pau Gasol who may make even more noise to be moved.
Same situation in Boston, where Pierce may want out.
With Portland getting the #1 pick, they may want to move Zach Randolph, and he'd be a good fit for the Bulls.
And, of course, there is that crazy rumor of Amare Stoudamire coming to the Bulls in a 3-way trade. (Though I truly doubt that will happen.)
I'm actually quite pleased with how things turned out.

This sucks (http://www.thehoya.com/sports/052307/sports1.cfm) for the Bulls.
Georgetown's junior standouts put an end to rampant speculation Wednesday, making clear their intentions for next season. Jeff Green, the reigning Big East player of the year, will remain in the NBA Draft and move towards selecting an agent, while 7-foot-2 Roy Hibbert will return to the Hilltop for his senior season.

Is there that big a salary difference between 3 and 9 in the NBA draft? I don't get it.

What I mean is; if anybody above the Bulls was hoping to take Hibbert, the next logical pick is Hawes.

Nobody will be taking Hawes before 9.

I was questioning him. It seems like Hibbert wants to go top 3, but it doesn't seem to be that big a difference in the NBA, but maybe it is.
And yeah, no one will takes Hawes before the Bulls get their shot. If I'm Pax, I try to trade the pick and get a post scorer.

I think Memphis or Boston will take him at 4 or 5.
As for Noah, he's probably the most underrated guy in this draft. I'd have no problem taking him at 9.

he's just obnoxious.
therefore the bulls would immediately become my least favorite team

I agree, he's obnoxious. I'm wondering if that would change as he matures, though.

i was talking more about his hair and facial structure. that's what really annoys me. i don't see that changing even if his pelvic thrusts abate with old age
