their pitching is thin....nick schmidt has shown cracks in his armor, but he still should be good for a win. Jess Todd SHOULD start game 1 b/c he's been the most effective starter (despite acting as closer for a lot of the season), but Schmidt probably will get it against Alabama. If they win (and I think they will) they'll probably play South Carolina in the second round....I don't expect that they will probably win that game....

And they don't have the pitching to win a third game. Two and out again, I think...hopefully they'll snatch up one to get some momentum come regionals time. :shrug:

Well, we have the luxury of being the #1 seed which will give us some favorable matchups like Wake in game 1.

After that it will be Miami and probably Clemson.

We shouldnt have a problem with Wake, and we will throw our ace Bryan Henry against Miami in game 2. After that, its gonna have to be our potent lineup that is going to have to carry us.

If we play like we are able to, we should win it, but I'll be satisfied with 2-3 wins which should lock us in as a national seed.
