I don't see there being enough interest to have individual game threads, so maybe we can just post thoughts here.
Anyway, the Bulls have gone retarded in the second half. Why not give Tyrus a chance on Lebron? He can't do worse than Deng is.
Ben Wallace has been great tonight.

Deng isn't playing that badly. Wallace has been amazing tonight, though.

Yes, I've inherited with the basketball fan gene. One of the few in the WSJ group.
God, the Bulls are doody right now.

Too many fouls. Yikes.
Especially offensively. Collins keeps saying the Cavs' big men don't block shots and yet the Bulls keep pushing off to get space. If they're looking to take charges get some movement off the ball to the basket and dish.

Adrian Griffin seeing way too much time out there. I'd much rather it be Tyrus.

Tyrus must have really pissed Skiles off because he can't get out there to save his life right now.
Wallace was ridiculous tonight: 12 pts, 19 rebounds, 6 blocks, 4 steals, 5 assists, and 2-2 on free throws!

Luol Deng roXXorz!
To anybody who would have been for trading Luol Deng, I say stick it up your ass.
Proud member of the "Keep Luol in Chicago" club since January.

The Bulls won... but hardly. It was close til the end.
Bulls currently up on Detroit late in the first half.
I really hope we can beat those fuckers.

Tyrus Thomas is going to be good, but I'm laying the odds right now, 27-1 he stays with the Bulls next year.

It took Skiles long enough to get Tyrus into the game. And that's enough Malik Allen too. Oh and nice use of Thabo- hit a few shots and then bench him for 8 minutes.
And I still hate Chris Duhon.

I can't see the game, but I think it's well documented on how much I hate Chris Duhon, and think Thabo ought to be seeing more time, especially against the bigger guards in the league.
I have great timing. I turn off the TV midway thru the third quarter with the score tied, trying to get some work done on this essay. I come back, see there's two minutes left and the Bulls are up by like 30 points. What happened?
Anyways, this calls for :bananarock: :bananarock: :bananarock:

The Bulls are crapping themselves right now trailing by 12. Seeing they would face the Nets if they were the two, they may be better of being the five seed and playing Miami with homecourt. They just don't match up well with NJ. Big guards are not something they can deal with.
And the bulls choke vs. the nets. Damn I am sick of losing to those guys.
We get Miaimi in the first round, then a top ten pick to look forward to.

I don't. The Bulls can beat any team in the east, and they'll be better off not having to face the Nets in the first round.

Agreed. The playoffs are about matchups and the Bulls just don't have answers for the big guards for NJ or Jefferson. I think they can beat Miami with the homecourt.

Agreed once more. 4 at the UC, but I think they can sneak one out of Miami.
The Bulls will beat the Heat. They're better now than they were last year, and they could have won the series last year. Miami is WAAAAY overrated; talk about a fluke last year. Also factor in Wade not being completely healthy, and you've got a pretty easy first round for the Bulls with the way they've been playing (outside of tonight of course).

To be the best you've got to beat the best. This is a much better litmus test about how far the Bulls have come rather than a first round blowout of Washington would have been. I say bring on Miami, and let's see what these Bulls are made of.

They wouldn't have played Washington anyway, right? If the Bulls win last night, they would have faced NJ again. Maybe with a bit more confidence, but the same matchup problems.
First game is Saturday at 3 on ABC

Yeah, but at the time they were playing that was all still up for grabs. It really doesn't matter. I'm fully confident that the only team that has a shot at beating them in a 7 game series out of the East is Detroit, and that's only because they'll have home-court advantage.

^ Agreed.
I'm also not worried at all about the Knicks winning last night. While it is a slight chance, it still is a chance to get pretty high up there. If we are 6-9, that is still Hibbert territory.

I'm not a fan of Hibbert. He's too slow for my taste. I'd rather go after Jianlian than Hibbert. Hell, I'd go for Hawes over Hibbert.
