He was on the radio this morning, and responded to comments by Brandon McCarthy. McCarthy is still not happy that he was traded, he grew up a SOX Fan.

Ozzie was on Mike North's show this morning and he was told about McCarthy's recent comments about the Sox' shitty clubhouse atmosphere. Ozzie basically ripped McCarthy saying he lost five games for the Sox and that if he says the clubhouse is bad he should take a look in a mirror.
Ozzie also said a big part of the reason he was traded was that McCarthy was out late partying or at bars too much.

I remember where I was when I heard McCarthy got traded....
I was at the Field Museum when my buddy text messaged me. I read it, sat down, put head in my hands and nearly cried. When my father came over he said, "what's wrong?" I showed him the text message and he did the same thing.

If McCarthy is dumb and ignorant enuff to say shit like that then he deserves everything Ozzie said and more. One thing I cant stand is a whiny little bitch. This reminds of Maggs punk ass whining after he signed in Detroit.
Brandon is gonna get lit up big time by the media if he doesnt perform like expected cause of what Texas gave up to get him.

My buddy had drinks with a pretty high up member of the White Sox staff. The first thing my buddy does is start lighting him up about trading McCarthy. The White Sox staff member responded with, "McCarthy is a fucking pussy."
The guy said McCarthy was always late to the clubhouse and the first to leave. He wouldn't listen to what the coaches would tell him and he basiclly had the worst attitude in the clubhouse.
This buddy of mine is not a liar and I trust him with my life. Take it for what it's worth.

There have been many times I have seen Bmac out and about. Thats not the problem. The problem is when you walk into a bar at 11 and around 1-130 you see Mccarthy stroll in then you realize hey wait a minute this guy has a noon game on fox in 10 hours, probably needs to be at the stadium in about 7 hours and he is just walking in now. So answer me this lets say he gets home about 330-4 sleep by 430 how effective will he be on 3 hrs of sleep after a night of drinking?

Too much would be something that could get him fired. Everyone should know Ozzie by now, it gets old when they have to talk about what he says for a week, every time he opens his mouth.

I don't remember exactly where I have seen him, but I saw him once in Wrigleyville I wanna either Kasey Morans or Barleycorn, and once at a bar called Shananigans downtown. I had pictures on my phone with him until I drunkenly threw it at my friend and broke it. He was there with Anderson but Anderson was there and gone quick, Bmac = party animal.

It's pretty surprising, though. I'm now reading about how McCarthy is a party animal, and doesn't work hard, but he seems like a guy that would be one of your hardest workers and in bed by midnight.

Its been in the papers every since the trade was made. Looking back on it Im not to surprised cause he did whine about how he's a starter and not a reliever, just doesnt have the mind det to be a reliever cause he needs to prepare mentally before a game and he didnt have enuff time to do that coming out of the pen.Blah Blah Blah.
He should have been happy just to be an MLB pitcher.:cool:

Brandon came off very well-spoken and had nothing bad to say about the SOX attributing to the comments being taken out of context, which is very easy to believe. I'm glad he was on the radio yesterday ........... Ozzie needs to realize that the Media would like nothing more than to make a story out of nothing ....

Yeah, the worst part is hearing about that. Same with Rowand. You know he loved it here. It would be great to have an entire team with that actual passion for the city and the TEAM, but sadly, that cannot always be the case.
