My Friend Peter---Alkaline Trio

http://www.azlyrics.com/lyrics/alkalinetrio/myfriendpeter.html

My Theory:
his friend Peter is his dick. He's saying he's going to follow his dick now that his g/f left him.

Evidence:
Much rather be drinking anyways
With my friend Peter
Who lives so fucking far away
Yet not as far as you
Even though you live right down my fucking street

And I'm tired of sleeping with myself
I'm tired, all these drinks and drugs no longer help
I'm tired of lying about not thinking of you
Maybe my friend Peter can tell me what to do

so she lives down his street and Peter somehow is less far away? Also why's he called Peter? Clearly it must be his dick

Likelihood I'm right: 90%

Operator: Jim Croce
http://www.lyricsdepot.com/jim-croce/operator-thats-not-the-way-it-feels.html
My Theory:
The guy's girlfriend left the speaker because the speaker had a coke problem. He no longer has that problem, but it's too late.

Evidence:
Operator, well could you help me place this call?
Well, I can't read the number that you just gave me.
There's something in my eyes, you know it happens every time --
I think about a love that I thought would save me.

Isn't that the way they say it goes? Well, let's forget all that
And give me the number if you can find it,
So I can call just to tell 'em I'm fine and to show
I've overcome the blow, I've learned to take it well --
I only wish my words could just convince myself
That it just wasn't real, but that's not the way it feels.
No, no, no, no -- that's not the way it feels.

hint 1= he thinks he needs the girl's love to save him from something? What? cocaine addiction?

hint 2= chorus. Yes "the blow" could be the blow to his pride of his girl leaving him for his best old ex-friend Ray, but considering how in the next phrase he says "i've learned to take it well" it could just as easily be referring to cocaine.

Likelihood I'm right:
50%. It seems like all the clues are there, but it's just a stretch considering how straightforward everything else in the song is.

Me and Julio Down By the Schoolyard-- as performed by Paul Simon and Art Garfunkle.
http://www.lyricsfreak.com/s/simon+and+garfunkel/me+julio+down+by+the+schoolyard_20124686.html

Theory: Paul Simon was caught faggin off with Julio down by the schoolyard. Chaos ensues.

The mama pajama rolled out of bed
And she ran to the police station
When the papa found out he began to shout
And he started the investigation
Its against the law
It was against the law
What the mama saw
It was against the law

The mama looked down and spit on the ground
Everytime my name gets mentioned
The papa said oy if I get that boy
Im gonna stick him in the house of detention
Well Im on my way
I dont know where Im going
Im on my way

Im taking my time
But I dont know where
Goodbye to rosie the queen of corona
See you, me and julio
Down by the schoolyard
See you, me and julio
Down by the schoolyard
Me and julio down by the schoolyard

In a couple of days they come and take me away
But the press let the story leak
And when the radical priest
Come to get me released
We was all on the cover of newsweek
And Im on my way
I dont know where Im going
Im on my way

Im taking my time
But I dont know where
Goodbye to rosie the queen of corona
See you, me and julio
Down by the schoolyard
See you, me and julio
Down by the schoolyard
Me and julio down by the schoolyard

This could very well be about smoking doobs or some other unsavory act that him and Julio were engaged in down by the schoolyard. But why does Rosie, Queen of Corona get the send off? Then the priest gets involved and it ends up on the cover of Newsweek? Unsavory indeed.

Game: Blouses.

Liklihood I'm right: 100%
