He faced 2 batters, and was facing the 3rd guy up when he took himself out.
SOX will examine him again tomorrow and find out what the problem was.
Im thinking this isnt a good sign ....... I hope this is something really minor
From 670 score report a little while ago .......

Well, that doesn't seem to bad. Just being cautious. I hope.

I'm sure Jenksy will be fine. I wouldn't worry too much about it.

In the RedEye this morning Jenks said that there was no pain, just tightness. I think he is going to be fine.

I heard he said it was due to a lack of stretching over the offseason. If that's true then fat and stupid is no way to go through life, son.

I thought he said it was due to bad mechanics.

I thought he said it was due to bad mechanics.

My dad told me this after he saw a Jenks interview on one of the comcast shows.

Not sure if my dad got the quote right but to me bad mechanics would be caused by a range of motion problem if the muscles are too tight. Why would they be too tight? Lack of stretching:shrug:

Who knows though. I just hope big bad bobby is a-g.

I'm glad he shaved off a few pounds though.

That image from last Spring showing him trying to slide is just mind boggling.

Per the headline writers for Cub Co.:
- Knue (http://www.chicagotribune.com/) says, "Sox closer leaves opener with injury"
- McGrath (http://www.chicagotribune.com/sports/baseball/whitesox/cs-070228sox,1,3186211.story?coll=chi-sportstop-hed) says, "Guillen hopes Jenks not stretching truth"

Everybody else says that Jenk's shoulder was tight, but there was no pain. The Sox don't think it's a big deal. Garland says that his shoulder was tight also, but that's typical of the 1st spring game.
