I did not, just curious if anyone did and if so, what they thought.

I was just going to ask the same thing....

Saw this interesting exchange.

yeah, the guy that "might rule" was Gravel... Not a snowball's chance in hell, but fiery, nonetheless.

Maybe Hillary will? There was a long article in the New Republic recently that made the case that she voted for the War not because of political expediency, but because she spent a lot of time hanging around with the hawkish Albright during Bill's administration, and is really a closet hawk. I never knew the Albright part.

Kind of a speculative piece, though.

i generally agree w/ what he's saying though

Hillary knew damn well what she was voting for when she was voting for it. She's as big a globalist hawk as anybody of the hawkish right.

Good thing our favorite elf from Ohio can cut the crap!!

Why am I not surprised that Campbell reads TNR?

Why am I not surprised that Campbell reads TNR?

I read Reason all the time, and TNR, The Nation, and the National Review occasionally.

I've had a TNR subscription for over 10 years and read certain articles in the National Review. The Nation and Mother Jones are too wacky for me.

I read The Economist when I can find the time, but that's rare.

Read The Nation, it's almost as good as The Onion.

The Economist is good, too. Hard to find here, though.

You know, they'll mail that right to you.:D Admittedly though, I subscribe and I get through maybe half each week- you do have to put aside a lot of time to get through the whole thing; it's nice to have at the airport.

That and Reason work for me.

No doubt. I got mine as a Christmas gift from my fiance, which undoubtedly makes me a complete nerd, but I didn't feel like shelling out $100 either.

You'll all be suprised to find out I'm a proud The Nation subscriber. I've had a subscription to Z magazine before as well, but I let that lapse. I've considered getting a subscription to The Weekly Standard just to peek inside the minds of the criminally insane, but I can't bring myself to support it.

The Economist repeatedly offers me free, multi-issue trial subscriptions. I've gotten a lot of free copies that way over the years. Lawyers usually can get steep discounts on magazines through EBSCO, because they figure they'll end up in a waiting room (increasing the ad circulation) instead of a garbage can.

How did Bill Richardson do in the debate?
I wanted to be wowed by him, really did. I think he's the best guy out there in terms of foreign policy on both sides (his work in Sudan has been nothing short of incredible), but to be honest, he didn't really do it for me.

But maybe that was because of the format. It wasn't really a debate, more of a forum, and the candidates couldn't really go after each other.

I've been a fan of his for a long time. I don't know why, I think I read something of his, but he has always seemed to be a decent guy for me. For right now, he has my vote. I really want him on a ticket in some capacity, whether that be for POTUS or VEEP.

I hate Dennis Kucinich. Hes going to get us all fucking killed.

Doesnt this moron get it? Mahmoud Ahmadinejad is not a negotiator. He does not want to bring everyone to the table and have a big fucking tea party.

He is a radical Muslim. He would kill everyone on this planet to please his pagan beliefs, so he could live forever in paradise with a bunch of burqa-wearing virgins. Thats what he and every other Islamic nutcase wants.

So this whole "lay down our arms and sing kum bai yah" approach is not going to work. That will just give Iran the upper hand. We must not do it.

And as for Gravel, he justs hates America. We NEED nukes. It is the only thing that even has a chance of keeping the fanatics at bay. To destroy our nuclear arsenal would be to open ourselves to attack by the scum of the planet.

Vote Giuliani/McCain/Hunter/Romney, or this country is going down the pipes!
