There's a lot of crazy rules in the MLB rulebook that nobody follows or cares about. This appears to be one of them.

no i'm serious.

i don't understand the torii hate. people make fun of him from saying he came from a rough neighborhood, just because it's in arkansas---however there are a lot of shitty parts of this town.

they give him shit for talking bad about the twins, but ryan has sent a lot of people he was close to packing.

i look at torii as a carl everett who doesn't play for us. except he's generally a lot better at baseball.

if torii came to the white sox, i would like it a lot. however, i don't root for him now.
