Baseball fans the other day heard of $oriano's injury and that he was headed immediately to the Disabled List. The flubbies logically were going to call up Willie Mays to replace him, that is until $oriano told Hendry to jam it, he didn't feel like being on the disabled list. The Spineless cubs immediately then sent down their pitcher Guzman to the minor leagues, which left them an arm short.

Nice team player. Of course, nobody in the media will report this ....

It doesn't say that anywhere in the article. Is this just speculation on your end?

YES, wild speculation on my part. You have to admit, why would they call up Willie Mays, and tell everyone and their mother that $oriano was DL-bound, and then quietly do a 180 and tell everyone that now they want to get Guzman some innings? I don't buy it. Wittenmeyer tries hard, I gotta give it to him, but the little Cubfluffer can't convince me.

I'm not sure what is worse: a newspaper with a bias, or a guy who throws out speculation just like the same people he daily lambasts.

Arby's 5 for $5.95 is a pretty good deal. Am I wrong here?

Hmmmm. Seems the Cubs are privately annoyed that they had to send down their pitcher Guzman, because Soriano wouldn't go on the DL, crowding their outfield and most likely forcing them to move one of the outfielders ...

Hmmmmmmmmmmmm
This was talked about on the radio this morning for a bit ......
did anyone see yesterdays post game with Piniella? he was very short and very peturbed, especially in regards to the Soriano situation, in which I hinted at last week. Piniella is definitely steamed about this, and I see now that Hendry is definitely involved in this. When reporters tried to press him regarding what he meant, he didn't answer, which was all he needed to say. Hendry is trying to kiss $oriano's ass way too much already, and Piniella is clearly not happy

yeah, I love how the media is only NOW starting to see something was brewing. They made up a BOGUS injury to Miller, totally saw threw that when I heard it yesterday. Hendry trying to appease Piniella now ....
