are there any teams you follow in the National League?
Mine would be the New York Mets...they're a lot like the New York version of the White Sox in that everything in NYC is always the Yankees, etc and Mets fans have the same type of dislike to the New York media that Sox fans have to the Chicago media..

I like the Mets too. Pretty much for the same reasons you do.

I'm sympathetic towards a lot of NL teams. If I had to pick, definitely the Cardinals and Marlins would head the list. I don't root for them the way I root for the White Sox (of course) but I'll pull for the Cards and Fish if they're playing.

Do the White Sox play in the NL? No? Ok, then... I don't have a favorite NL team.
I root for one team and one team only, the White Sox. Everyone else is the enemy.

Oh yeah, of course. I only rooted for the Cubs maybe 6 games last year, and those were the ones against Detroit and Minnesota. They went 0-6. It must suck to root for them all the time.

Another vote for Brewers here. They are the ONLY team I will even watch in the NL. I hate NL baseball. I wish I could split the price in half of my DTV extra innings, cause I only watch the AL games.

D-backs. I got some relatives in Phoenix, so the D-backs, Suns, and Coyotes are my 2nd teams (hate their cardinals though)

I really dislike the NL, but I tend to root for the teams that play the north-siders. The Padres and Cardinals and probably the lame Brewers. I would like the Mets if they would get rid of the BLACK in their uniforms and quit trying to be someone they aren't.

I vote Cards. Just because they get to beat the Cubs on a regular basis.

Sorry Simpson,
I guess that is kinda lame. I change my vote to the Braves. Chips says they are excellent so I agree.

One day I'll venture up to Miller Park. I have to get my passport ready though, they ask for it once you get to the Midlothian Turnpike and Cicero.

They're not that good, but I've always had a soft spot for the Rockies and their fans -- they seem like a really classy organization.

El Dorado is no more.
I know :(
They were supposed to put a Hooters there, but Crestwood did not want it. They'll have an OTB, but no Hooters. Eh, I'm eating Bartolini's right now.

Is anything there now? I haven't been by there in a while. Mmmm, Bartolini's; I think I'm gonna get me some Tony's Beef tomorrow morning before I head to the Cleveland.
Mmmmmm, Tony's Beef. I swear they put heroin in the juice to make it more addictive than it already is.

I've always had a soft spot in my heart for the Mets for 1969. Aaaah what sweet memories. Man landing on the moon, and the Mets ripping out and stomping on the hearts of Cub fans everywhere.

Brewers. How could you not like them? Most people in there home state don't even know they exist. Poor fellas. I was even ok with the Brewers before moving up here (when they were in the AL).

Sounds great. When will be up in these parts?
If I get into the program (http://www.nlns.org/NLWeb/Index.jsp) that I interviewed for yesterday, I will be in Boston for 5 weeks in the summer for training. Hear that Myrtle??? :D
