Chicago Tribune:
6 cub stories
3 sox stories
Chicago SunTimes:
4 cub stories
3 sox stories
3 90-win seasons since 1950, 5 90-loss seasons since 1990 Cubs 241
14 90-win seasons since 1950, 0 90-loss seasons since 1990 Sox 171
The Chicago Media is in a baseball-allegiance vacuum right now, with the sale of the Tribune announced on Monday. With the CubLove Rug pulled out from under them, Fluff articles strewn about, Attendance Championship Champagne spilled, writers are now pushing and shoving their way onboard the Objective Express Train.
The bad news for Chicago Media folk is that train has long since left the station, journalistic credibility languishing on the platform for the last 27 years. What a joke this towns media is.
