The Chicago Media is in a baseball-allegiance vacuum right now, with the sale of the Tribune announced on Monday. With the CubLove Rug pulled out from under them, Fluff articles strewn about, Attendance Championship Champagne spilled, writers are now pushing and shoving their way onboard the Objective Express Train.

The bad news for Chicago Media folk is that train has long since left the station, journalistic credibility languishing on the platform for the last 27 years. What a joke this towns media is.

If nothing else it will make the number of Cub stories go up as they talk endlessly about what will happen with the team, who should run them, what will happen with the beer garden they play in, etc...
